Dialysis Administrative Staff in this support role you will ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions treatment logs patient charts, invoices and purchase orders. You also will assist patients with transportations arrangements and physician appointments.
Dialysis Administrative Staff works under the supervision of the Dialysis Department Manager supporting patient admission and discharge processes, maintaining medical records, answering phones, filing and providing customer service.
Qualifications:
- Courses in basic health sciences; previous health care experience
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical work
- Knowledge of computer electric keyboard
- Must be highly motivated, dependable and organized
- Should have strong interpersonal skills and a compassion for patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Protects medical record to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
- Records daily census of the dialysis department.
- Prepares new charts for new patients.
- Responsible and reviews records for completeness, accuracy of logbooks.
- Responsible in encoding the use of medical supplies of the patients.
- Compiles and maintains patient medical record in good document condition.
- Explains admission documents to patient and obtains patient signatures.
- Ensures the completeness of inventory logbook like supplies, medication and machine.
- Maintains all DOH policies and procedures updated.
- Keeps all 20 files of doctors, nurses, and technician updated (PTR, License and Training).
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
