We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Curatorial Department in our dynamic and mission-driven ocean park. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations by assisting with administrative tasks and department coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Curatorial Manager in consolidating and preparing regular reports and liquidations
- Conduct basic water quality testing under supervision
- Prepare and monitor budgets for material procurement and department needs
- Generate and update budget reports regularly
- Organize and maintain departmental files, records, and documents
- Coordinate with other departments and vendors for purchasing and logistical needs
- Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, and documentation support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marine Science, Environmental Science, or any related field
- Prior administrative experience preferred, especially in a technical or scientific setting
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn water quality testing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
