POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Analyst, Projects & Operational Accounting assists the Gaming, Non-Gaming, and Financial Accounting teams with process improvements through automation.

Works closely with the Centralized Scheduling group on an ad hoc basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Performs ad hoc projects and duties as assigned by senior management.
2.    Continuously drives system automation to improve efficiency.
3.    Develop and produce data retrieval tools to help automate report writing.
4.    Works with FP&A and Scheduling Team to increase efficiency using VBA.
5.    Improve and automate Excel Entry to reduce data entry.
6.    Develops, maintains, and reviews policies and procedures pertaining to FP&A and Scheduling.
7.    Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
8.    Identifies opportunities for cost savings and process improvements that have a positive impact on company financial performance.
9.    Provide technical assistance to the Kaizen team as required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1.    Decrease amount of time spent completing FP&A and Scheduling.
2.    Create Macro driven journal entry templates.
3.    Expand and automate the Financial Reports.
4.    Meet all internal deadlines given by Senior Management.


QUALIFICATIONS:

I.    Experience

1.    Extensive experience and knowledge in Casino operations.
2.    Advanced knowledge and experience using Visual Basic Applications, Microsoft Access and Excel
3.    Solid understanding of Gaming, Hotel, F&B, Entertainment, Retail and Mall Management Operations.

II.    Education 
Bachelor’s Degree in computer Programming preferred though not required
Computer System and Programming Classes

4.    Expertise in Microsoft Office applications 
5.    Compliance with regulatory guidelines
