We are currently hiring an Animal Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, hands-on experience in animal care, and a genuine passion for working with farm animals.
Responsibilities:
- Daily care, feeding, and monitoring of goats, geese, chickens, and similar animals
- Cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures and facilities
- Observing animal behavior and health, reporting abnormalities
- Assisting with breeding, vaccinations, or basic veterinary care when needed
- Supporting farm operations and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience handling goats or similar livestock
- Experience or basic knowledge in caring for poultry such as geese and chickens
- Must have a genuine sympathy and concern for animal welfare
- Hardworking, responsible, and can work independently or with a team
- Willing to work on holidays or Sundays if needed
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
