Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Specialist APAC
This role helps carry out anti-illicit trade (AIT) projects in the Philippines. Working with the AITO Manager, the specialist will coordinate with law enforcement, government agencies, private groups, and internal teams to fight illegal tobacco trade. Key tasks include gathering and analyzing intelligence, sharing insights, and supporting the market’s AIT action plan by engaging with authorities like the Police, Bureau of Customs, and Bureau of Internal Revenue. The role also helps ensure JTI and its partners comply with supply chain policies and business standards.
As the Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Specialist APAC, you will:
- Help identify, plan, and manage AIT projects with the AITO Manager, ensuring clear objectives and accurate financial control.
- Conduct investigations following standard procedures, gather information on illegal trade, and share insights with law enforcement and government agencies.
- Support awareness sessions for law enforcement, wholesalers, and retailers; check product authenticity and send samples for analysis when needed.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in internal databases.
- Travel within the country and the region as required.
- Ensure JTI and its partners strictly follow the company’s supply chain policy and other business standards in the assigned area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma, ideally in Police Science or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, or related roles in private industry.
- Proficient in English and Tagalog; knowledge of another language is a plus.
- Confident in working with law enforcement agencies and internal teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and diverse work setting.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
