THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Monitor assigned Service Desk queues for requests. Prioritise, resolve, and escalate tickets appropriately.
  • Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements and adhere to relevant clocks. Engage with stakeholders to provide updates accordingly.
  • Proactive and ongoing communication and engagement with Service Desk, end users, team members, and vendors with the view of resolving issues, service requests, and problems.
  • Working with application vendors to troubleshoot issues and identify workarounds and resolutions.
  • Perform maintenance routines including monitoring, extracting, and clearing log files, arranging restarts of services and other hardware.
  • Maintain documentation for enterprise applications portfolio in consultation with product and project teams.
  • Adhere to security standards.
  • Developing processes and procedures and identifying areas of improvement
  • Provide support and mentoring to colleagues as required

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5 years' experience providing functional support to customer users in a managed service environment or large government agency
  • Experience work with project & product teams to support change movement across uncontrolled & controlled environments
  • Experience supporting business design & change through the coordination of appropriate configuration of enterprise applications
  • Experience interacting with the applications to ensure systems are operating correctly
  • Experience supporting strategic planning by contributing to the assessment of the current state & identifying opportunities for optimisation/rationalisation of enterprise application portfolio
  • Experience maintaining business continuity documentation for enterprise applications portfolio in consultation with product & project teams
  • Experience maintaining appropriate risk mitigations that support the security of information, applications, and people across the enterprise applications portfolio in coordination with the security and information management personnel
  • Ability to perform maintenance routines including monitoring, clearing, & responding to log files, arranging restarts of services and other hardware
  • Developing processes and procedures and identifying areas of improvement
  • User access monitoring across multiple applications including auditing & reporting
  • Creating & updating system documentation & interlocks to other applications
  • Aid in delivery of change through vendor engagement, quality assurance, & change board liaison
