The Architect is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and managing building projects from planning through execution. This includes preparing architectural plans, coordinating with engineers and contractors, ensuring compliance with Philippine building codes, and overseeing construction to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare architectural designs, working drawings, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to integrate architectural plans.
- Inspect construction works to ensure they conform to architectural plans, quality standards, and specifications.
- Modify designs based on feedback, technical constraints, or site conditions.
- Assist in securing permits and ensuring compliance with local government and national building regulations.
- Estimate materials, costs, and timelines for project proposals.
- Present design ideas and project updates to clients, contractors, and management.
- Support in space planning, site development, and project feasibility studies.
- Ensure sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic value in all architectural works.
- Prepare as-built plans and final reports upon project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, and other design software.
- Knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines and other relevant laws and ordinances.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to be assigned and relocate to project sites in Bulacan, Bataan, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija.
