Job Details and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing service transition plans, checklists, and Operate readiness assessments for Projects and new Operate services.
  • Support senior Service Transition members in coordinating transition activities across Implement, Operate, and Platform teams.
  • Support collaboration with Implement teams to align Service Transition plans with the Scope of Work (SoW).
  • Help ensure knowledge transfer from Implement to Operate is documented and executed.
  • Monitor transition risks, issues, and actions, and escalate where necessary.
  • Contribute to service support materials such as checklists, SOPs, and training guides.
  • Participate in service review meetings and post-implementation assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with defined service transition processes and standards.
  • Maintain transition records in ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
  • Support the onboarding of customers to standard Operate solutions and services.
  • Assist in performing service transition checks to minimize risks of failure and disruptions during transitions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service transition process by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and providing feedback.
  • Assist in managing the service transition queue in tools like Jira and Service Now.
  • Assist in testing, automating, updating, and rolling out different LCP, JIRA, and Confluence solutions.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Experience :
  • Education Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • No prior work experience required; however, internships or academic projects related to IT Service Management, Service Delivery, or IT Operations are beneficial.
  • Exposure to ITIL or a project delivery framework is a plus.
Core Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes (particularly Service Transition and Change Management) and familiarity with Service Management tools such as Service Now, Jira, and Confluence.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication, documentation, administrative, attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
Certifications and Licenses :
  • Desirable: ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
