As an Associate Supervisor, you will assist in managing the daily kitchen operations at Food Garden. This includes supervising staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, inventory control, and supporting overall customer satisfaction. You’ll play a vital leadership role in ensuring our kitchen delivers the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen crew including cooks, assistants, and dishwashers
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality, and presentation
- Assist in inventory monitoring, ordering, and stock control
- Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness compliance
- Support menu planning and equipment maintenance
- Resolve customer concerns related to food and service
- Foster teamwork and guide staff development
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years in college or vocational culinary/hospitality course
- 3–5 years of kitchen operations or catering/hospitality experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety, inventory, and staff supervision
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
