Job Summary
The Audit Lead will oversee audit engagements for diverse clients across multiple industries, ensuring compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), Philippine Standards on Auditing (PSA), and regulatory frameworks (BIR, SEC, BOA). This role requires leading audit teams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality audits while mentoring subordinate auditor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engagement Management:
- Plan, execute, and finalize audit engagements for clients (e.g., corporations, SMEs, NGOs).
- Allocate resources, set timelines, and monitor budget adherence.
- Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and compliance.
2. Technical Excellence:
- Ensure audits comply with PSA, PFRS, SEC regulations, and BIR requirements.
- Address complex accounting issues (e.g., tax implications, revenue recognition).
- Implement quality control procedures under PSQM 1 (Philippine Standard on Quality Management).
3. Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary client contact for audit-related matters.
- Present findings to management/board and recommend solutions for risk mitigation.
4. Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate associate auditors
- Promote professional development through coaching and technical training.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Identify control weaknesses and operational risks.
- Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Data Privacy Act (DPA) requirements.
6. Business Development:
- Support proposals for new client engagements.
- Identify opportunities for additional services (e.g., tax advisory, internal audit).
Qualifications: Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Licensed Philippine CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
- CPD (Continuing Professional Development) compliance.
Experience
- 3+ years in external auditing, with 1+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in industries common to the Philippines (e.g., real estate, BPO, manufacturing, banking).
- Proficiency in audit software, system and MS Office.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Expertise: PFRS, PSA, Philippine Tax Code, SEC filings.
- Leadership: Team management, conflict resolution, mentoring.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Filipino; client-facing presentation skills.
- Analytical Skills: Risk assessment, problem-solving, attention to detail.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
