Job Requirements Summary
Planning and managing overall business operation for sustainable growth of Beauty & Care in PH market. Driving and leading sales & marketing through management of sales team to maximize sales/profit and ensuring the achievement of annual GP target. Maintaining and strengthening relationship with key business partners and customers, guide on developing new business opportunities and converting it into commercial goals to fuel growth and long-term plan.
Job Requirements
1. Business Achievement
- Plans and manages overall functions of business operation, i.e. budgeting, staffing, cost & expenses control, profitability, inventory, debtors, supply chain, sales tools, country campaign, etc. in order to achieve the business unit objectives.
- Achieve optimum sales/profit according to the agreed budget and EBITA.
- Monitors and controls the actual Sales Performance, Gross Profit & EBITA against Budget, as well as inventory and Accounts Receivables according to the budget. Ensures a proper inventory management to avoid slow and non-moving stocks.
- Develops and manages the interface between the Sales Team, Supply Chain and relevant suppliers to ensure the smoothest and most functional flow of products to customers.
2. Business Development
- Acquire new Business Partners, set up and execute business strategies to develop and promote new markets by expanding product portfolio and enhancing supplier relationship as well as captures competitive intelligence information by developing & maintaining competitor database.
- Ensures that the BU has a healthy project pipeline by utilizing a CRM system (Salesforce).
- Keeps close contact and strengthens good relationship with strategic customers as well as both local and overseas suppliers.
3. Regional Strategic Execution
- Align business direction with regional direction; implement local industry strategy, manage its profitability; prepare and submit business report to key stakeholder i.e. suppliers, Regional Industry Manager; provide & support competitive/market intelligence information; expand the regional business network.
4. Staff Management
- Recruits, motivates, manages and coaches team including developing all staff in the Business to perform their duty with full effectiveness and efficiency as well as work well in harmony to enhance and cultivate teamwork spirit.
- Keeps all staff in his business well informed of the country’s policy and activities, etc.
- Holds regular meetings among sales staff on relevant business topics within his / her respective business.
5. Others
- Ensures that all business activities are preceded according to the Working Instructions as specified in the Integrated Management System.
- Other duties as assigned by Superior.
Qualification
- Knowledge of Personal Care Chemicals industry is a must
- Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in B2B sales/ business development/marketing function, out of which last 3-5 years should be at a leadership level at a reputed organization.
- Experience in handling distribution activities in chemical companies is desirable. Strong client management and team management experience is required.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds.
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Science Major from a reputed university.
