Cash Application Specialist, Operations Customer to Cash
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Cash Application Specialist, you will:
- Process customer payments: This includes receiving and verifying payments, recording payment details, and updating customer accounts.
- Apply payments: Accurately applying payments to the correct invoices or accounts receivable.
- Reconcile accounts: Regularly comparing payment records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies: This may involve contacting customers about short payments, incorrect payment information, or outstanding invoices.
- Generate reports: Preparing and presenting reports on cash flow, outstanding payments, and other relevant metrics.
About You
You're a fit for the of Cash Application Specialist if your background includes:
- 1 to 2 years relevant work experience in Cash Application position or environment (B2B)
- Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
- Amenable to work on an early or mid-shift schedule.
- Good communication skills
