We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate must have a strong background in accounting and finance, preferably a licensed CPA, with experience in the gaming or payment solutions industry. This position is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, tax compliance, and proper reporting aligned with regulatory requirements, such as those from PAGCOR, BIR, or BSP.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Ensure compliance with gaming or fintech industry regulations (e.g., PAGCOR, BIR, BSP).
4. Monitor, record, and reconcile revenue streams, including gaming transactions or digital payment flows.
5. Handle tax computations and filings (VAT, EWT, income tax, etc.).
6. Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries.
7. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany account reviews.
8. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
9. Work closely with operations and compliance teams to support business reporting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
3. At least 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the gaming (land-based or online) or payment solutions/fintech industry.
4. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the Philippines (PAGCOR, BIR, AMLA, BSP, etc.).
5. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
6. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset.
10. Willing to report to either of the company’s designated offices in Mandaluyong and Makati, depending on operational needs.
