Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Checker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing documents and managing custom orders, to check, help load and unload containers in TransAsia. The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking: Ensure the proper handling and inspection of goods being loaded and unloaded in TransAsia containers. Verify the accuracy of cargo quantities, product condition, and other related details.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist in the physical loading and unloading of cargo from TransAsia containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to avoid damage or loss.
- Documentation: Process necessary paperwork related to shipments, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company standards. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth flow of processes.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods. Support in the organization of inventory for easy access and retrieval.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.
Qualifications:
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Previous experience as a Checker or in a similar role is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
