Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cooking and food preparation, with a preference for those experienced in pastry-making and dessert creation. This role involves planning, preparing, and executing high-quality dishes and baked goods, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation meet our standards.
Chef Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, both savory and sweet, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Develop and update menu items, especially desserts and pastries, based on seasonal ingredients and guest feedback.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff when necessary.
- Work closely with the F&B team to coordinate service and ensure timely food delivery.
- Ensure portion control and minimize food waste.
- Stay up to date with culinary trends and techniques, especially in pastry and dessert innovations.
Qualifications:
- EProven experience as a Chef or Cook, with a specialization or background in pastries preferred.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training is a plus.
- Experience in a hotel or resort setting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for food presentation and flavor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

We are located at Small Lalaguna Beach, Brgy Sabang, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. Applicants must be willing to relocate and stay in the air-conditioned accommodation provided by the resort.
