About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to join a leading construction team working on civil infrastructure projects across remote and outback regions in Australia. This role requires strong estimating capabilities and a solid understanding of working in remote or logistically challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil construction projects (roads, earthworks, drainage, infrastructure).
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop detailed quantity take-offs.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
- Assess project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment between estimate and project delivery.
- Prepare tender documentation and assist in bid submissions.
- Update cost databases and stay current with market rates and regional pricing trends.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proven experience working on projects in Australian remote or outback regions (highly desired).
- Strong knowledge of civil works, including earthworks, road construction, and utility installation.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Cubit, CostX, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Australian construction codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Familiarity with challenges unique to remote-area project execution (e.g., transport logistics, site access, labor sourcing).

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
