We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the Philippine market. This role is critical in shaping the growth of our outbound travel business toward Europe, the US, and China. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, relationship-building, and market development capabilities, along with the vision to drive long-term business success. You will take ownership of client acquisition strategy, manage key accounts, and serve as a bridge between market needs and internal delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion Strategy: Design and execute business development plans targeting local travel agencies, corporations, and MICE organizers, aligned with company growth objectives;
2. Key Account Leadership: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and partners; manage contract negotiation, renewal, and business growth discussions at a strategic level;
3. Channel & Network Development: Identify and pursue new channels, alliances, and B2B partnerships through proactive outreach, networking, and market intelligence;
4. Team Collaboration & Guidance: Work closely with internal product, sales support, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high-quality service delivery; mentor junior staff where appropriate;
5. Issue Resolution: Take the lead in resolving complex business challenges or customer concerns, ensuring long-term trust and continuity of partnerships;
6. Performance Reporting & Forecasting: Analyze business performance, identify trends, and prepare regular market reports with actionable recommendations to leadership;
7. Sales Target Ownership: Achieve revenue and client acquisition targets, managing sales pipelines and prioritizing high-impact opportunities;
8. Other Responsibilities: Complete additional strategic tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record (5+ years) in B2B business development, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or destination management industry;
2. Strong experience in handling MICE projects, incentive groups, or series tours is highly preferred;
3. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate and manage complex business relationships;
4. Proactive and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and think strategically;
5. Fluent in English; other language skills (Mandarin) are a plus;
6. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Tourism, Marketing, or related fields.

Pay: Php47,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
