The Part-Time Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to employees, administering first aid, and assisting in maintaining occupational health and safety standards within the workplace. This role plays a key part in ensuring employee well-being, supporting compliance with health regulations, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate first aid treatment to employees in case of accidents or health concerns.
- Monitor and record employee medical information, health complaints, and treatments administered.
- Assist in health assessments and pre-employment medical requirements.
- Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, or emergency responders when necessary.
- Support the company’s health and safety programs, including wellness activities, preventive health campaigns, and safety trainings.
- Maintain medical supplies, first aid kits, and clinic inventory.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards as mandated by law.
- Prepare and submit regular health reports and incident logs to management.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned within the scope of responsibility.
General Duties
- Promote employee health awareness and wellness initiatives.
- Provide assistance in government-mandated health compliance requirements.
- Support HR and Admin in handling occupational health-related concerns.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Must be a Registered Nurse.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or occupational health setting is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Skills:
- Proficient in basic nursing and first aid procedures.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate and able to prepare basic reports.
