A Glimpse into Your New Role
As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and managing all compensation and benefits processes for the organization. This includes benefit administration, claims processing, coordination with government and external providers, and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. You will also support onboarding activities, provide information to employees regarding their benefits, and ensure that all related records are accurate, up-to-date, and handled securely.
Your Day Could See You:
- Supporting new hires with onboarding and initial benefit enrollment
- Assisting employees with upgrades, claims, and other benefit-related concerns
- Ensuring timely processing of employee benefits and requests aligned with policies
- Preparing and communicating benefit program updates and disclosures to employees
- Handling administration and coordination of claims (e.g., maternity, sickness, leave conversions)
- Liaising with government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, PAGIBIG, BIR) for benefit filings and compliance
- Managing separation-related processes, including clearances and final benefit computation
- Monitoring, updating, and reconciling leave balances and reimbursement trackers
- Coordinating with benefit providers for claims and payments
- Maintaining accurate and secure records in compliance with data privacy policies
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Compensation and Benefits Manager
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor and government-mandated benefits
- Experience liaising with government agencies (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and office productivity tools
- Knowledge of employee information systems is an advantage
