- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food is cooked safely and meets quality and presentation standards
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure availability of ingredients
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and communicate effectively during busy service periods
- Adapt to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers
- Assist in cleaning dishes, equipment, and surfaces as required
- Participate in inventory counts and help manage food cost and waste
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
