About the Position:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a Credentialing Associate to support the credentialing process by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring the timely completion of background checks, license verifications, and credential tracking. This role supports cross-functional needs across multiple business units.

What You"ll Do::
Initiate the onboarding process by ensuring accurate updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and timely distribution of required documents to new clinicians.
Collaborate closely with Credentialing Specialists to ensure all credentialing activities comply with state, federal, and Joint Commission standards.
Oversee the accurate management, retrieval, and verification of clinician documentation across internal databases and client platforms, maintaining a high level of data integrity.
Communicate directly with clinicians to provide guidance on credentialing requirements, address questions, and support timely renewals by proactively managing upcoming expirations, exams, and related documentation.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards by verifying credentials such as licenses, education, employment history, and background checks.
Proactively track and manage expiring credentials, send timely reminders and ensure all compliance documentation is current.
Conduct regular credentialing and sanction checks, ensuring that client systems are updated, and compliance is maintained.
Support reporting efforts by preparing weekly and monthly reports on credentialing status, assisting with audit documentation as needed.
Provide ongoing support to the US Credentialing Team by monitoring records, addressing compliance issues, and ensuring smooth credentialing operations.
Serve as a backup for credentialing activities during team member absences, ensuring no interruptions in service.
Communicate effectively with Credentialing Specialists, Team Leaders, and Recruiters to resolve any compliance or renewal concerns.
Actively participate in cross-training to ensure flexibility and seamless operational support across the credentialing team.

What You Bring:
One year of experience in data collection, data entry, and reporting.
Prior experience in recruitment, compliance, or a related HR field is preferred.
