Credit & Collection Analyst
Responsible for supporting the credit function, which may include reviewing customer accounts, researching payment discrepancies, generating reports, etc. Assists with the receivables to reduce risk and maximize accounts receivable. Performs credit and trade reference checks to assist with processing credit applications.
About the job:
- Reviews past due customer accounts to understand terms and collects relevant information related to payment and/or terms. (40%)
- Communicates with past due customers to resolve issues. (30%)
- Maintains accurate documents/notes for audit purposes and assists in the development of collection strategies. (20%)
- Assists with credit application processing. (10%)
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
- Five to seven years of experience
- Previous experience supporting treasury or accounting preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
