A. Crew Planning and Scheduling
1. Develop crew rotation plans in line with vessel operations.
2. Optimize manning to minimize travel and overtime costs.
3. Coordinate crew changes and relieve planning.
B. Certification and Compliance
1. Ensure crew certification complies with STCW, MLC, flag state, and company policies.
2. Maintain crew databases (e.g., certificates, licenses, medicals, training).
3. Conduct audits and checks for compliance.
C. Crew Welfare and Support
1. Monitor crew welfare, address grievances, and manage emergencies.
2. Ensure proper insurance, medical assistance, and timely salaries.
3. Promote a safe and respectful work environment onboard.
D. Performance Management
1. Oversee evaluations, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
2. Support career development and succession planning.
E. Internal Collaboration
1. Works closely with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure seamless delivery of crewing services.
2. Initiates and executes plans and strategies on process improvements and best practices.
3. Performs other functions as may be assigned to him / her from time to time.
F. Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time
