JOB SUMMARY:
The role implements and maintains a company’s labor relations programs, policies, and procedures, and maintains current knowledge of employee and labor relations trends, legal decisions, and statutory changes
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations.
- Ensure classification of goods under the appropriate tariff codes (HS codes).
- Review shipping documents for accuracy (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
- Communicate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up on any customs holds, inspections, or delays.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current customs laws and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with trade agreements and duty relief programs.
- Keep organized records of all customs documentation and transactions.
- Identify and resolve customs compliance issues as they arise.
- Assist with internal audits and reporting related to customs activity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Psychology or any behavioral science course
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, Logistics or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Board passer in Customs Administration is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, and Incoterms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with trade documentation and import/export processes is an advantage.
