Job Summary:
As a Data Quality Analyst supporting a leading Biotech client, your role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and usability of critical datasets. You’ll lead data cleaning efforts, standardize scientific and product information, and ensure datasets meet the rigorous demands of biotech applications. This is a high-impact position suited for detail-oriented professionals passionate about accuracy, process improvement, and enabling data-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Quality Management
- Clean, organize, and validate data within spreadsheets and databases.
- Standardize naming conventions, formats, and metadata to ensure interoperability across systems.
Scientific/Technical Data Review
- Review and refine scientific product information with a customer and compliance-first lens.
- Select and verify high-quality images and descriptions relevant to the Biotech field.
Workflow Oversight
- Oversee and guide the daily tasks of 1–2 data support team members.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, flag anomalies, and document cleaning processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Core Competencies
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven experience in data standardization and quality control.
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) including formulas like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with Biotech, scientific terminology, or regulated data environments is a plus.
Technical & Analytical
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with data validation tools or willingness to learn.
Leadership & Communication
- Ability to direct junior team members and provide clear feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
