Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Assistant helps manage and maintain the company's online presence, primarily focusing on the website and occasionally supporting related digital channels like social media. Another key responsibility is managing and updating data in the company’s CRM system. This position offers broad exposure to digital marketing, web management, and data analysis tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Upload, format, and update website content—including text, images, and videos—using a content management system (CMS).
- Assist with basic website troubleshooting, identifying and resolving minor issues, and ensuring overall site functionality.
- Support SEO efforts, including keyword research, content optimization, and monitoring website ranking.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement updates, design changes, and assist with front-end tasks such as basic HTML.
- Manage CRM data by entering and updating customer information, monitoring data quality, organizing contacts, and supporting lead tracking and campaign management.
- Create and analyze reports using tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio to monitor website traffic and engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for digital and website improvements.
- Uphold brand standards and serve as a steward of the company brand.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture that maximizes resources and fosters teamwork.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in using a content management system (CMS) and various platforms to manage website content.
- Basic web development skills, including knowledge of HTML for minor layout adjustments.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, social media marketing, Google Tag Manager, and email marketing.
- Ability to interpret website analytics to understand user behavior and identify improvement areas.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all digital updates.
- Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, managing projects, and meeting deadlines.
- Enthusiastic about digital marketing and eager to stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work U.S. hours, with flexibility once independent in the role, based on client preferences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software.
- Relevant certifications in areas such as Google Analytics or digital marketing platforms.
