Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Management:
- Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors in the assigned territory.
- Ensure distributors comply with company policies and processes.
- Monitor distributor financial health, inventory levels, and infrastructure adequacy.
Sales & Distribution:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective distribution.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across general trade, modern trade, and other channels.
- Implement market coverage plans and monitor beat efficiency.
Team Coordination:
- Coordinate with field sales representatives, ensuring alignment on distributor performance and market development.
- Train and support distributor sales personnel.
Market Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Drive new product launches and promotions through the distribution network.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide timely reports on sales performance, stock movement, and market intelligence.
- Analyze distributor KPIs like secondary sales, claims, and ROI.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in sales/distribution management in FMCG.
- Proven track record in managing distributors and delivering sales targets.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution models.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, or any ERP system.
- Excellent communication and relationship management.
