The Distributor Sales Manager (DSM) for Region 4 and 5 is responsible for managing distributor relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring market execution across Southern Luzon (CALABARZON and MIMAROPA) and the Bicol Region. The DSM leads strategic initiatives to strengthen brand presence, expand market reach, and optimize the performance of the distribution network in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development
- Set and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed regional sales targets and KPIs.
- Identify new growth opportunities, sales channels, and untapped markets within the regions.
- Ensure alignment of distributor activities with the company's sales and marketing objectives.
2. Distributor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional distributors to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with distributors and align on action plans for improvement.
- Monitor distributor inventory levels, order placements, and replenishment cycles.
3. Field Execution & Market Coverage
- Ensure effective route-to-market (RTM) strategies and territory coverage by distributors and sales personnel.
- Oversee the execution of merchandising, promotions, and trade marketing activities at retail outlets.
- Gather insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and coach Area Sales Supervisors and field sales representatives.
- Lead regular training and capability-building sessions for distributor and field teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and regularly monitoring team progress.
5. Operational Efficiency & Reporting
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivables and monitor credit limits.
- Approve and validate trade spend, distributor claims, and performance-based incentives.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field .
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, trade marketing, or distributor management within FMCG or related industries.
- Proven success in managing distributors and sales teams across Southern Luzon and Bicol.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis, territory planning, and CRM tools.
- Willing to travel frequently within Region 4 and Region 5.
