Driver Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least High School graduate or Vocational course graduate (some companies require at least 2 years in college).
• Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, 3 — sometimes 4 or 6 for trucks/heavy vehicles).
• 1–3 years of professional driving experience.
• Experience in defensive driving and navigating within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Proven experience in basic to intermediate vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and physically fit.
• No major traffic violations or criminal record.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Driving:

• Responsible for driving company executives, temporarily filling in for the regular company driver during absences.
• Responsible for operating company vehicles to transport goods or materials as needed, temporarily filling in for the regular company driver during absences.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety rules, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Keep accurate trip logs and mileage records.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to management.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Plan routes to ensure timely arrival and delivery.

Mechanic:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on company vehicles (oil changes, filter replacement, tire checks, etc.).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and repair needs.
• Keep the workshop and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry standards.
• Provide recommendations for improving vehicle performance and extending service life.
• Others: Perform errands for the company as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
