Job Summary:
The Early Years and Smart Play Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality,, and developmentally appropriate education to young learners in accordance with the values and standards of Stockbridge American International School. This role focuses on nurturing cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development through structured play, interactive activities, and foundational academic experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate learning experiences based on the school’s Early Years and Smart Play curriculum
- Use creative, engaging, and play-based approaches to introduce early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and socio-emotional concepts
- Design and deliver weekly lesson plans that align with developmental goals and the school's academic framework
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Monitor and support the individual needs of each child, including developmental milestones and behavior guidance
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Establish routines that promote independence, cooperation, and responsibility
- Observe, assess, and document student progress using school-approved tools and formats
- Prepare regular progress reports and portfolios for parent-teacher conferences
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding student growth, concerns, and achievements
- Collaborate with co-teachers and other faculty members to support school-wide programs and events
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops
- Contribute to curriculum reviews, school improvement plans, and enrichment activities
- Organize and maintain learning centers and materials that promote purposeful play and inquiry
- Ensure classrooms are clean, safe, and stimulating
- Use technology appropriately to enhance the teaching and learning experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience teaching in an early childhood or preschool setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young childre

Pay: Php16,500.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
