Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our growing team. This role supports the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and performing a variety of accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is a graduate of Accountancy, with or without Australian accounting experience, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day financial transactions and data entry into accounting systems
- Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist in preparing financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets
- Support end-to-end payroll processing including employee timesheets, deductions, and tax calculations
- Ensure timely compliance with local and international payroll regulations
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents
- Work with accountants and auditors as needed
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
- Xero Certified or has hands-on experience using Xero accounting software
- With or without Australian accounting experience
- With end-to-end payroll experience in either the Philippines, United States, or Australia
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Can start immediately
- Willing to work Onsite (Angeles City)
