Position Summary:
The role of PEZA/BOI compliance Associate is crucial to ensure TIP’s compliance with the tax incentive and reportorial requirements, to ensure TIP maximizes its income tax and VAT incentives and avoids penalties and disallowance of tax incentives
Job Description:
● Monitors PEZA/BOI permits and manages timely submission of all documents related to PEZA/BOI compliance and registration; prepares monthly and annual PEZA reportorial (EZMPR, TIMTA) and BOI requirements such as but not limited to LOA, ITH validation, Notice of SCO
● Prepares all requirements for incentive application required in incentives validation and extension such as for ITH and Develops PEZA/BOI plan, policy and processes for current compliance
● Responsible in documentation of all PEZA/BOI related files and Performs such other duties for PEZA/BOI projects as maybe assigned from time to time
● Assist with company's tax compliance required for statutory reviews and correspondences with tax authorities (as may be assigned)
● Perform fieldwork for meetings and submissions. F2F follow-ups with PEZA/BOI officers may also be performed (as necessary)
● Attend periodic team meetings as well as training sessions to develop your skills and competencies
● Perform other tasks and duties that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to you
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management
- Required skills: Tax and Accounting
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- With 2-3 Years Experience Employees specializing in PEZA and/or BOI reports
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience in any accounting system is an advantage
- Must be amenable to work on a hybrid setup, 2x Onsite and 3x WFH at TELUS Ortigas on a mid-shift schedule (1 PM to 10 PM)
