SEA LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - FINANCIAL ACCOUNT(AUSTRALIA)
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Daily Bank Reconciliation and Monthly Credit Card Reconciliation
- Verification and booking Employee Expense Report and G&A expenses
- Fixed Assets Booking – Depreciation
- Cashflow Projection – Weekly
- Support Finance Manager to supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable
- Local tax law Compliance (VAT/Corporate tax/GST/WHT) – Reconciled Trial Balance with returns
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation (Prepayment, Accrual, Provisions)
- Weekly discussion with Sales team and Country Manager on AR and AP Report
- Preparation of month end and various management reports
- Assisting in Internal and External Audit Requirement
- Provide support during Budgets and other Project
- Other accounting tasks as directed by the Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy and preferably pursuing CPA
- Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook & Accounting Software
- Ability to efficiently adapt to new software systems.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills & stakeholder management skills
- A great attitude, proactive and self-motivated individual.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Pre-existing knowledge of air and sea freight shipping terms is preferred.
- Ability to function independently as required.
