Job Summary:
The Foreman Technician supervises and coordinates the activities of technicians and maintenance personnel engaged in installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery, vehicles, or facilities. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of technicians in daily maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.
- Coordinate with other departments for scheduling and equipment availability.
- Review technical drawings and specifications as required.
- Recommend and implement improvements in repair or maintenance procedures.
- Report equipment performance, breakdowns, or incidents to management.
Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology.
- Proven experience as a technician, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of technical systems, tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work in demanding environments.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping.

- Must be a graduate of an Automotive Mechanical/Trade School diploma holder and possess a minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanic specializing in American, European and Korean Cars. Must be familiar in using engine analyzers and electronic test equipments.
