The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for guests, clients, or visitors. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office/facility.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information to clients, visitors, or employees.
- Maintain the front desk area in a tidy and presentable condition.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs (for hotels, gyms, salons, etc.).
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments or meetings as needed.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security procedures (e.g., visitor logs or ID verification).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and supply inventory.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- A graduated of BS in Hospitality Management or Tourism.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
