What you'll be doing
- Performing regular watering, pruning, weeding and mulching of the hotel's gardens and landscaping
- Planting and maintaining a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees to enhance the hotel's aesthetic appeal
- Monitoring plant health and taking appropriate measures to prevent and treat diseases or pests
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborating with the grounds team to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing outdoor environment
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Gardener or in a similar horticulture role
- Strong knowledge of local plant species, their care requirements and seasonal maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
- Commitment to providing outstanding service and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Passion for gardening and a keen eye for detail
