The Head of Digital Technology role in Manila is a pivotal senior role for our global Digital operations at HWW.
This role has primary focus on operational excellence ensuring work is produced consistently in the best way possible to the highest standards.
In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovation, optimisation and continuous improvement while being accountable for the recruitment and management of a team of subject matter experts working to clear KPI’s
The successful candidate will act as the face of the Manila Digital team and is a key member of the Global Digital Production senior and strategic tribe.
The key attributes of a senior leader in this role include – a solutions orientated mindset, a passion to explore opportunities to perpetually innovate and optimise with particular focus on automation and agile ways of working and hybridised/cross utilisation of resources across our various worktype verticals, Web, CMS, Banners.
This role reports into the Operations Director of the Manila GDC.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Key operational responsibility of the digital team at the Manila GDC, including adherence to KPIs for the below priorities:
- Staff Cost Ratio
- Quality
- Utilisation
- Productivity
- Sourcing
- Team leadership and management – Recruitment, performance management, mentoring and retention
- Ongoing recruitment and sourcing strategy in the local market
- Operational and Production excellence – Driving operational best practices in the team with a focus on efficiency and cross-utilization between programmes
- Maintaining high standards of quality at meeting key quality KPIs
- Establish a strong onboarding plan for the GDC, to onboard and implement new client workstreams into the team
- Identify, support and drive automation opportunities to minimise manual workflows
- Planning for future scale and growth across digital teams and functions
- Focus on capability enhancement within digital teams to remain competitive in the market and globally
- Collaborates with key global leaders and teams, striving to raise the profile of the Manila GDC
- Effective and rapid problem solving with internal and external stakeholders
- Risk mitigation planning and long term strategy for forecasting and capacity planning
- Recruit and empower key senior leadership hires in your team in Manila
- Plan an innovation structure for the team
- Be the face of the digital team in Manila, and a strong advocate of the GDC
The ideal candidate has been responsible for managing teams of developers and tech leads, managing and planning the growth of their team and leading operational strategy for a minimum of 10 years.
