An Information Security Administrator is responsible for safeguarding an organization's digital assets and protecting them from unauthorized access, misuse, or breaches. Responsibilities typically include developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls; conducting risk assessments and audits; monitoring for security incidents and responding to them promptly; and educating employees about security best practices. Information Security Administrators also often collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and implement security measures to protect against emerging threats. Strong technical skills, knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Additionally, Information Security Administrators may be involved in incident response, forensic analysis, and security awareness training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering
- Knowledgeable and with working experience in Finance and Accounting process, SAP, and SQL database
- At least two (2) years work experience as Information Security Administrator from a reputable company or business establishment, preferably in a Healthcare facility
