Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT systems, networks, hardware, and software to ensure smooth and secure operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide technical support to staff, resolving IT issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies and best practices.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Maintain IT inventory, including computers, printers, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT-related purchases and support.
- Document IT procedures, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or related role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, VPN).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
- Experience with database management and ERP systems.
- Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
