About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IM Expert with deep expertise in instant messaging systems, mobile development, and high-concurrency system architecture. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our instant messaging platform. The ideal candidate will have strong mobile development experience (especially in iOS), a solid background in network communication protocols, and the ability to work on large-scale, high-concurrency environments.
Mandarin language proficiency is required, as you will be working closely with technical teams across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of instant messaging (IM) functions.
- Design and implement robust and scalable IM system architectures to support real-time messaging and high-concurrency user activity.
- Provide in-depth technical support and troubleshooting for IM system-related issues.
- Conduct technical research and innovation, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating cutting-edge IM technologies.
Technical Requirements:
Mobile Development (iOS):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Proficient in mobile UI design, performance optimization, and cross-platform development practices.
IM Technologies and Architecture:
- Strong understanding of instant messaging systems and related protocols (e.g., message push, Socket, WebSocket, real-time transmission).
- Hands-on experience in developing and optimizing IM applications, including message transmission, storage, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with mainstream IM SDKs such as Tencent Cloud IM, Rongyun, and Huanxin, with experience in access, customization, and secondary development.
Network & Data Transmission:
- Deep understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and experience in optimizing network performance.
- Skilled in data handling and synchronization, capable of optimizing stability and efficiency under varying network conditions.
Concurrency & Scalability:
- Proven experience working with high-concurrency systems, including message queues, real-time data streams, and user request management at scale.
- IM Feature Familiarity:
- Extensive experience in core IM functions, including but not limited to:
- Instant chat
- Voice/video calls
- Push notifications
- Friend and group management
- Message alerts and delivery logic
- Capable of customizing IM functionalities to suit product or business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in instant messaging application development.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required; strong English communication skills are a plus.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-demand environments with cross-functional teams.
