We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized IT Asset & Logistics Associate to manage and oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and deployment to disposal. This role will also be responsible for coordinating the logistics of hardware and software distribution, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track, manage, and maintain the IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, software licenses, and other technology equipment.
- Coordinate procurement, receipt, tagging, deployment, return, and disposal of IT hardware and software.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the timely delivery and distribution of IT equipment.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset management database (CMDB or equivalent).
- Support audits and ensure asset tracking aligns with compliance, security, and financial standards.
- Assist with asset-related reporting, lifecycle planning, and forecasting.
- Facilitate the return and reallocation of equipment from departing employees or shifting teams.
- Coordinate shipping logistics, especially for remote/hybrid teams and multiple office locations.
- Work closely with IT support teams to ensure assets are configured, tracked, and updated correctly.
- Identify opportunities to optimize asset usage and reduce unnecessary costs or redundancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT asset management, logistics, or a related function.
- Familiarity with IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JAMF, Lansweeper, Freshservice).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with vendors and coordinating equipment logistics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Amenable to work onsite and with shifting schedules.
