What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in Technology procurement or sourcing support roles
- Understanding of procurement and sourcing processes and systems
- Familiarity with Technology supplier categories (Hardware, Cloud, Software, Services, Telecommunications)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Basic financial acumen and data analysis capabilities
- Team player with a willingness to learn
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Able to work under supervision as well as independently
- Resilient and adaptable
- Professional and enthusiastic attitude
What will you do?
- Assist the IT Procurement Category Manager with sourcing initiatives, including preparation of RFx documents, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
- Support requirements gathering from technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and supplier capability.
- Coordinate and manage communications with suppliers throughout sourcing processes.
- Contribute to the evaluation of supplier proposals and preparation of recommendation reports.
- Assist in contract negotiation support and documentation, collaborating with legal and internal stakeholders.
- Help develop and maintain category plans that align with Sigma’s technology roadmap.
- Provide data analysis and reporting to track savings and benefits from sourcing activities.
- Contribute to market research and supplier benchmarking within the Technology category.
- Support process improvements, template enhancements, and procurement best practices.
- Assist in contract administration and ensure updates are reflected in operational practices.
