SUMMARY
The IT Support Specialist I provides essential remote technical support to users, ensuring efficient and accurate problem resolution. This role serves as the initial point of contact for technical issues, focusing on quickly identifying and resolving basic customer technology problems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming support calls and emails.
- Create support tickets and gather essential client information, including:
- Company details
- User information
- Description of the issue
- Affected parties
- Perform foundational IT support and troubleshooting services, such as:
- Password resets
- Adding/removing Office 365 licenses
- Resolving broken mapped network drives
- Managing PC user accounts (Local/Domain)
- Basic operating system troubleshooting
- Installing local and networked printers
- Installing client-side software
- Troubleshooting client-side network connections
- Office 365 troubleshooting
- Setting up email on mobile devices
- Adding, updating, and maintaining client runbook service information as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Fundamental networking knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with Windows Server.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Proactive team player in an office setting.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as determined.
- Fast learner with a 1–2-week training period.
- Strong note-taking and technical detail capture skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
- Amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
