Summary:
Responsible for facilitating employee relations and mediating human resource issues on behalf of the company. Deals with issues related to employee and management relations and works to help employees and management. Work requires coordination with all facets of Human Resources.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Law and/or Political Science
2. Bar Passer
3. With at least 5 years experience as Legal Supervisor or equivalent
4. Leadership and industry certifications will be an advantage
5. Knowledgeable in Contract and litigation
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal assistance to Human resources team for employment matters and contract drafting for employment and other relating matters.
2. To act as an owner of company’s IP assets such as trademarks, copyrights, patents, brand names (registrations & renewals).
3. Prepare & coordinate with HQ Legal on notices to clients, employees, filing of legal or civil case against erring employees.
4. Coordination with HQ Legal / liaison to Local Government agencies.
5. Provide Counsel and Assistance to other Departments for business and employment compliances
6. Contractual, legal and regulatory obligations; and Provide Counsel, Assistance and Support in creation of structures and environment for ethical and legal compliances and support enforcement of HQ compliance policies that are applicable across regions
