Job Summary:
As a Line Cook at Mala House, you’ll be responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality ingredients and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. You will uphold food safety, presentation, and quality standards while supporting the team in delivering our signature hot pot and malatang dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion vegetables, meats, noodles, and other hot pot ingredients according to daily prep lists and recipes.
- Cook and blanch ingredients as needed for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the entire kitchen.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the food line and prep stations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as per DOH regulations.
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients; report spoilage or low inventory to supervisor.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in food preparation and plating.
- Coordinate effectively with front-of-house and other kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Uphold Mala House’s brand standards in food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience preferred, but not required; fresh grads or trainees welcome.
- Familiarity with hot pot is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife handling, and food hygiene.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and be a team player.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: Php610.00 - Php645.00 per month
