LOCAL PURCHASING MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the local buying team
- Review and monitor supplier performance
- Work with the team to grow sales and expand the selection of items offered
- Work with the marketing team to promote the local categories via events, posts etc
- Work closely with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on inventory and delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of local market trends, pricing, and supplier networks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong ethical and decision-making skills
