The Marketing Assistant is tasked to render a range of support and assistance to the company’s Account Officers (AO) with the goal of enhancing and promoting the company’s customer service to achieve portfolio growth, profitability and developmental objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development
- Undertake pre-qualification of accounts generated by AO through client’s submitted documentary requirements
- Monitor and check the completeness of the documents submitted by the client which are for endorsement to the Credit Review and Evaluation Group (CREG)
- Assist AO in business development and account solicitation activities, whether through telephone, mail campaigns or by accompanying the AO in calling on prospective clients
- Assist AO in processing availments of new and existing clients
- Prepare documents and materials needed to respond to internal and external inquiries and concerns
- Coordinate with other unit/s within the company responsible for documentation, review and processing of credit approvals and availments, ensuring proper and adequate implementation
- Serve as representative of the company during industry related events and other functions
Account Management
- Create and maintain a physical credit folder of accounts containing approved Credit Applications, Write Ups, and related documents including updated records and correspondences
- Undertake creation of digitized credit folder of accounts to be uploaded to the applicable DBPLC system
- Monitor renewals of insurances and registration requirements of assigned accounts
- Update of the relative court, credit, bank and trade checkings of assigned accounts
- Coordinate with other departments within DBP Leasing on behalf of the prospect / existing client for all matters concerning their account
- Perform the initial collection and remedial management tasks during the early stages of default as directed by the Account Officer or AMG Head
Others
- Perform other ad hoc tasks and functions that may be assigned from time to time
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4-year College Degree preferably in the fields related to Banking and Finance / Economics / Accounting / Management / Business / Marketing
- Preferably familiar with credit and financial concepts, procedures, and processes typically used in banking and finance.
- Excellent English communications skills both Written and Oral
