Ensures strict adherence to all applicable maritime laws and company policies.
Responsible for the welfare, discipline, and effective management of the ship's crew.
Oversees the safe loading, stowage, securing, and discharging of cargo, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the vessel, crew, and cargo.
Maintains clear and effective communication with the company management, port authorities, and other relevant parties.
Ensures that all operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.
Responsible for ensuring the vessel is properly maintained and for reporting any defects or necessary repairs to the company management.
Oversees the vessel's arrival, berthing, and departure from ports, ensuring efficient and safe port operations and other destinations.
Acts as the company's representative on board.
Takes command and make critical decisions in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of life, the vessel, and the cargo.
