Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Medical Scribe to join our clinical team. In this essential role, you will serve as the physician’s trusted documentation partner, accurately capturing real-time patient-provider interactions to support the delivery of efficient and high-quality care. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of patient records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record physician observations and patient interactions in real time during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Observe and interpret patient verbal and non-verbal cues to assist in clarifying or reinforcing physician instructions as needed.
- Draft, review, and edit medical documentation, including patient charts, progress notes, reports, correspondence, and statistical data.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and correct usage of grammar, spelling, and medical terminology in all written materials.
- Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to communicate appointment updates and documentation requirements.
- Assist with additional administrative or clerical tasks related to patient care as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Foundational knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
- Strong command of the English language—both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM with a focus on accuracy and proper grammar.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a professional demeanor.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical, allied health, or related field (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare, clinical, or patient-facing environment (preferred).
- Prior experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or similar clinical support role is an advantage.
- Licensed medical practitioners or recent graduates from health-related programs are welcome to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
