Core Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, networks, and peripherals.
- Software Management:
Installing, updating, and managing software applications, ensuring they are properly configured and licensed.
- Network Administration:
Managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, and ensuring network connectivity and performance.
- Security Management:
Implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- User Account Management:
Creating and managing user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
- Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- System Monitoring:
Monitoring system performance, security logs, and network traffic to identify potential problems.
- Backup and Recovery:
Implementing and managing data backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss.
- Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, network diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Technical Support:
Providing technical support to end-users and assisting them with IT-related issues.
- Policy Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Staying Updated:
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the IT field.
Skills and Qualifications:
